Flush mount and semi flush mount ceiling lights

A flush mount ceiling light sits tight against the ceiling. It suits hallways, entryways, closets and rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. A semi flush mount hangs slightly lower, which gives it more presence in a living room, bedroom or dining area and works well with higher ceilings.

How to choose the right size

A simple rule is to add your room's length and width in feet. The total is the fixture diameter in inches. A 12 x 14 ft bedroom suits a fixture around 26 inches wide. For larger rooms, you can also use several smaller fixtures spaced evenly.

Styles for every interior

Choose a slim LED ring for a minimalist bedroom. A wood grain finish brings warmth to a kitchen or study. A starburst or multi-arm design makes a statement in a living room or dining room.
